Swiss filmmakers get 4 awards in competition
LOS ANGELES, CALIF., USA –Swiss filmmakers have won four awards in the 2012 US International Film & Video Festival competition. The wins included one first place.
Gstaad Saanenland Tourismus, Gstaad, captured a first place Gold Camera Award statuette in Tourism Films for “Gstaad – Come up, slow down.” The entry is a promotional effort for one of Switzerland’s most beautiful and enjoyable regions. Outdoor sports, food and shopping abound in many summer and winter scenes.
Seed Audio-Visual Communication AG, Zurich, earned a Silver Screen Award in Public Relations for “Swiss Life Corporate Movie,” in which client Swiss Life changes its audiovisual communications to a modular approach. Seed Audio-Visual also earned a Certificate for Creative Excellence, also in Public Relations, for “Zurcher Kantonalbank – An Ode to Closeness.” CAN’T FIND ANYTHING ON THIS CERTIFICATE!!!
Electronic Media Center (EMC), Bern, took a Certificate for “Flying Diamond The PC-7 Team” in Corporate Social Responsibility/Non-Profit. The entry covers the intensive training of the Swiss Air Force PC-7 Team, an aircraft built in their own country.
The overall competition recognized competitors with 20 First Place Gold Camera statuettes, 28 Silver Screen Awards, 60 Certificates for Creative Excellence and four Student Awards. Twenty-three countries produced winners in this 42nd annual competition, which drew more than 1,100 participating entries from 29 countries.
