DTV-MA scores in international competition

LOS ANGELES, CALIF., USA –Two Russian filmmakers have won awards in the 2012 US International Film & Video Festival competition. The wins included two first places.

DTV-MA production House, Moscow, captured first place Gold Camera Award statuettes for “Kazan Gateway” in Advertising/Marketing Communications and for “Kazan FINA” in Tourism Films. The two films promote The Republic of Tatarstan and the city of Kazan as a region of dynamic development and investment opportunity.

LBL-Production, Novosibirsk, won second place Silver Screen Awards for “BelAZ works here” in Public Relations, and for “Sladkovo. One step” in Advertising/Marketing Communications. BelAZ makes the largest, strongest quarry dump trucks in the world, while Sladkovo is the ideal hunting farm and lodge that provides its customers with a home away from home in the wild Siberian forest.

The overall competition recognized competitors with 20 First Place Gold Camera statuettes, 28 Silver Screen Awards, 60 Certificates for Creative Excellence and four Student Awards. Twenty-three countries produced winners in this 42nd annual competition, which drew more than 1,100 participating entries from 29 countries.
