GERMAN COMPANY GETS A ‘BEST OF FESTIVAL’ NOMINATION LOS ANGELES, CALIF., USA -- “Faces of Life,” a corporate image film done by Gehrisch & Krack Filmproduktions AG, Dusseldorf, has won a Gold Camera First Place award and is one of seven productions nominated for “Best of Festival” in The U.S. International Film And Video Festival 2004 competition. The film was done for Citigate SEA GmbH & Co. KG. German companies captured seven Gold and seven Silver awards. Gehrisch also won a Gold and two Silver awards for a production, Siemens Wireless Modules “Heavy User.” castor-film GmbH won a Gold and a Silver for “DaimlerChrysler Highlights 01-2004.” Other winners were:
The 2004 Festival received more than 1,500 entries from 27 countries and gave 65 Gold awards and 82 Silver awards. This is the Festival’s 37th year. Winners will be recognized and the “Best of Festival” announced June 12 at ceremonies in Hollywood. Members of the International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers (IQ) select the “Best of Festival” winner. Productions created or released up until the March 1, 2004, deadline were eligible.
