DUTCH COMPANIES WIN 3 INTERNATIONAL FILM AWARDS

LOS ANGELES CA., USA - EMS Films, Woerden, took home a Gold Camera award in the 2003 U.S. International Film And Video Festival for a production done for Dutch and French Television.

"Eye on Peru: Dario - The Animal Caller" featured exploration of a remote place by an ex-hunter and tracker who found a way to communicate with many of the forest creatures. It won in the Environmental Issues & Concerns category.

De Kroon, Wissenraet & Associes won two Silver Screen awards for its production, "The Secret of Ketel One." The feature won in Advertising Sales and in Audio. It was done for Nolet Distillery and featured its Ketel One Vodka distillery in Schiedam, Holland.

The winning entries were among more than 1,500 entries from 28 countries. A total of 64 Gold Camera Awards and 92 Silver Screen Awards were given in 52 categories or sub-categories.

The awards were presented June 6 during ceremonies in Manhattan Beach, Calif.

The competition is in its 36th year and is recognized as one of the world's leading events for Business, Television, Documentary, Industrial, and Informational and Entertainment productions.
