FILM TAKES HOME 3 AWARDS LOS ANGELES CA., USA - Dockhouse Film & Television, Gothenburg, Sweden, won two Gold Camera and one Silver Screen awards in the 2003 U.S. International Film And Video Festival. Two other entrants from Sweden won Silver awards. The winners were among more than 1,500 entries from 28 countries. A total of 64 Gold Camera Awards and 92 Silver Screen Awards were given in 52 categories or sub-categories. The awards were presented June 6 during ceremonies in Manhattan Beach, Calif. Dockhouse won a Gold in the Motivational, Inspirational category for "Crossing Oceans" and in Corporate Communications-Dealer for "Five and One Challenge." The Silver was in Training & Education-General. All were done for Volvo Car Corp., Gothenburg. Matine Film & Television AB, Falun, Sweden, received a Silver in Current Events for "Fjallraven Polar," which highlighted a sled dog race using equipment from Fjallraven, Bromma. United Film & TV AB took home a Silver in Public Relations-Corporate Image for "The World of Protein Separations," produced to expand knowledge of the business of Amersham Biosciences, Uppsala. The competition is in its 36th year and is recognized as one of the world's leading events for Business, Television, Documentary, Industrial, and Informational and Entertainment productions. Lee W. Gluckman Jr. is chairman of the U.S. International Film And Video Festival. He also is chairman of the Mobius Advertising Awards Competition held each February.
