IN MEMORIAM
The film industry and US International Film & Video Festival lost a friend Dec. 6 with the death from cancer of Pim Korver, a Dutch member of the Festival Board and a great documentary filmmaker.
Korver was known as THE maritime film- and photo specialist, according to a posting by
TowingLine.com blog. Over 50 years he documented the towage and salvage heritage of Dutch maritime.
Korver was also a journalist on other subjects. He and his talent will be greatly missed.
